Joana Breidenbach

Joana Breidenbach holds a PhD in cultural anthropology, is a social entrepreneur and author. She is co-founder of betterplace.org and founder of the betterplace lab. Joana explores the importance of Inner Work for new forms of leadership and shaping the future, including at innerwork.online. As an advisory board member, investor or supervisory board member, she supports companies and organisations such as ReDI School, DeepL, TheNextWe, gut.org gAG and Trivago. In 2021, she founded brafe.space with friends as a network for entrepreneurs and investors. Along with her husband, Stephan Breidenbach, and their two children, she is the owner of Maison Marcelle.

Siena Powers

Siena Powers is a visual artist, writer, and editor living in Berlin. Her work ranges from drawings and texts, to social interventions and experimental parties. She is the art editor for SAND Journal Berlin and a founding member of Die Sammlung, a collective for Jewish writers in Berlin.

Annette Stadler

Annette Stadler grew up in a family in which contemporary art was always very present thanks to close ties with the Kunstverein Braunschweig and numerous artists. She studied Romance philology and history in Tübingen and Liège. Her family still has a great passion for contemporary art, in particular for concrete art, conceptual art, minimal art and light art.

Matthias Kunz

(Visual arts)

Matthias was born in Wuerzburg in 1967. Since age 7 his home has been Munich. After school he served in the German Army. Before relaizing that society and humanity will die without the arts. So he started working at a gallery while studying art history, philosophy, economics and anthropology at LMU, Munich. He joined as partner to Knust Kunz Gallerie, founded in 1982 by Sabine Knust. He has been a full time gallerist for more than 25 years, and tries to keep calm and carry on.

Petra Eggers

(Fiction, non-fiction literature)

Petra Eggers, born in 1958, studied Literature in Constance and Paris. After receiving her doctorate, she worked as an editor at Suhrkamp Verlag and Fischer Verlag in Frankfurt. In 1986, she founded the Petra Eggers Literary Agency in Berlin. After several years in New York for the agency Eggers & Landwehr, she continued her own agency Eggers in Berlin.

Gauri van Gulik

(Social Innovation)

Gauri is the co-Founder and Chair of Multitudes Foundation, which was created to support political changemakers building more inclusive, human and hopeful politics in Europe. With over 20 years of hands-on global human rights experience, she led teams doing groundbreaking work at Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch across women's rights, refugees and politics in Europe. Recently she has been the Europe Director at Luminate exploring how the larger ecosystem of rights groups and organisers around Europe could be better supported and developed.

Thomas Hübl

Thomas Hübl, PhD, is a teacher, author, and international facilitator who works within the complexity of systems and cultural change by integrating the core insights of the great wisdom traditions and mysticism with the discoveries of science. Since 2004, he has taught and facilitated programs with more than 100,000 people worldwide. He is the author of Attuned: Practicing Interdependence to Heal Our Trauma—and Our World (2023) and Healing Collective Trauma: A Process for Integrating Our Intergenerational and Cultural Wounds (2020)
